This is why i hate Cartoon Network

This isnt about my love of the old transformers, this isnt about my love of the new movie. This is about a sense of design. This is about why going to animation school is a complete waste of time.

Why does everything Cartoon Network create look like it was made from some 14 year old retard from Newgrounds? None of those designs are appealing, none of them are practical for animation, i cant even fathom how this will look in motion, judging by these images tho they look like they will be using character models, as on a few of them you can see flipped symbols used, mainly on hands. And who thought it was a good idea to use Starscreams jets as high heels?

So back to my original point of why going to animation school is a waste of time. When you go to school you learn how to animate, you learn what works and what doesnt. And if Cartoon Network and Nicklodeon have proven time and time again over the last 10 years, they have no interest in hiring people who actually have either skills or talent, so i ask, animation school, whats the point since theres no studios who want to spend the money on the talent? And why should they, since afterall, they can just get some unexperienced kids on Newgrounds to do all the work for them, its not like the children at home can tell the difference between good and bad.

Wow. This is like how they totally ruined all of Scooby Doo with that new show on the Kid's WB.

I now watch Cartoon Network for five shows only:

Ed, Edd n' Eddy
The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy
Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends
Camp Lazlo
Chowder

Everything else can burn in hell.

Unless they show Samurai Jack reruns~

Believe me, we have the same opinion, and I dont even like transformers.

It's as if the Transformers got really drunk one night and then slept with the Loonatics...

Meh. I was utterly disgusted when I first saw the new designs a while back. I considered it a bastardized wannabe Bruce Timm style. It took me a while to get passed the initial disgust of the style of the show. My only hope now is that the story will be of some quality to make up for the horrible animation.
As for everything else on Cartoon Network, I can't stand most of it, in terms of both animation and story direction. Honestly, I'd like to see something that isn't Japanese, that isn't Avatar, that isn't anime based in general, that looks like somebody actually put more work into every once in a while.

MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH AHAHAHA! I'M A PEPPER! WOULDN'T YOU LIKE TO BE A PEPPER TOO!
The animation itself isn't so bad, from the videos. In fact, I think the reason they're all round and zany is because they're more fun to animate than blocky figures.

My only real problem is that they gave Optimus Prime lips...

My signature has been obnoxious for far too long.
